Are you starting a STEM degree program at KIT and want to prepare yourself for it in the best possible way? KIT is happy to support you! Our MINT-Kolleg and the KIT Department of Mathematics offer you preparatory courses for various subject areas that are suitable for your degree program.
Preparatory courses are voluntary, but offer you the opportunity to get to know people from your degree program in addition to the subject-specific preparation.
Preparatory courses of the MINT-Kolleg
The MINT-Kolleg Baden-Württemberg is an institution of the KIT and offers prospective students inexpensive preparatory courses. These are mainly mathematics courses, but for some degree programs there are also other subject-related courses (e.g. physics, computer science). As a rule, there are two face-to-face courses of two weeks each, which take place consecutively, so you are sure to find a period that suits you. There are also online courses for some degree programs.
Mathematics preparation courses at the KIT Department of Mathematics
The KIT Department of Mathematics also offers two courses:
- Preparatory course for engineering students: Civil Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechatronics and Information Technology.
