You need the KIT Campus Management Portal for:

There are video tutorials for students to help you register for exams on Campus.

There are separate video tutorials for ERASMUS students to help with the specifics of exam registration for these students.

If you still have problems registering for exams after watching the video tutorials, please contact the examiner for the relevant exam first. If they are unable to help you, please get in touch with your contact person at the Students Office.

If you would like to continue studying at KIT in the next semester, you must re-register online in the Campus Management Portal in good time and pay the fees.

The re-registration periods are always

  • for the summer semester: January 15 to February 15
  • for the winter semester: July 1 to August 15

Late re-registration costs a €15 administration fee. If the fees are not paid within the period specified in the reminder, even after a reminder, de-registration will automatically take place ex officio.

It is important that your information in the Campus Management Portal is always kept up to date, because official mail from KIT (e.g. reminders if you have forgotten to re-register) is always sent to the address stored there. If you move, please change your address in the Campus Management Portal immediately so that important mail can reach you.

All important certificates can be downloaded directly from the Campus Management Portal. These include study certificates (e.g. certificates of enrolment, certificates of study progress and certificates for BAföG and KVV), the transcript of records and also certificates for previous semesters.

Certificates other than those listed above can be issued on application to the Students Office.

You have the option of adding a course to your favorites list in the course catalog. The courses in the favorites list will then automatically appear in your timetable. You can then display the timetable in a daily, weekly or monthly view.

Certificates that can be downloaded from the Campus Portal are valid without a KIT signature. They can be verified using a printed verification key, which can be checked by anyone using the "verification of certificates" function.
